The Design & Document Review system allows you to review project drawings and documents in one place. You can add comments directly to specific areas of the document, communicate with your team or client, track feedback, and monitor the status of each comment throughout the review process.
Yes. You can add a comment directly to a specific area of the drawing or document. Simply click on the relevant location, enter your feedback, and submit the comment. This helps ensure that everyone clearly understands which part of the design or document the feedback relates to.
The Review system provides two types of comments: Internal and Client comments. Internal Comments are used by the internal team to review documents, identify changes, discuss them internally, and create new document versions until the design is ready for client review. Client Comments can be enabled once the internal review is completed, allowing the client to review the finalized version and provide feedback directly on the document.
Each version represents a different iteration of the document or drawing. Whenever an updated document is uploaded, a new version can be created. This helps maintain a clear history of changes and ensures that the team is reviewing the correct version of the document.
Yes. Previous versions can be accessed when they are available in the system. This allows you to refer back to earlier submissions, review previous feedback, and track how the document has evolved across different versions.
Yes. Multiple users can review the same document and provide feedback, depending on their assigned access and permissions. This allows different team members and stakeholders to collaborate on the same document.
The Audits section provides a record of activities performed on the document. It helps you track important actions and changes made during the review process, providing better visibility and accountability throughout the document's lifecycle.
No. Internal comments are intended for communication within your internal team and are not visible to the client. Once the internal review is completed and the document is ready to be shared, the Client comment option can be enabled for client feedback.
